 Kesari - Story

Kesari 2019 is an Indian Hindi language historical film. Written and directed by Anurag Singh. It is a battle between 18 soldiers of the 36th Sikhs of the British Indian Army in 1897 and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribals.

The film was released in India on 21 March 2019 during the festival of Holi. It had a good start at the box office, while the opening of the first day was influenced by Holi-related celebrations. The film grossed 207.09 crores, becoming one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2019.
